Worship

Every year Day Of Praise gatherings of all sizes occur in various locations around the world.
Each gathering worships the Lord in their own powerful and intimate way
through the arts, prayer, outreach, and fellowship.

Day Of Praise Ministries encourages each gathering to use the venue and medium of music as
a means to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all attending their gathering and to
unite the Body of Christ on a neutral level. The gathering Day Of Praise is a non-doctrinal,
non-denominational, and non-political event that is mainly focused on "Coming Together To Worship."
Day Of Praise Ministries simply wants to answer the cry of God's heart

John 17:20-24
 "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.
May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me.
May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have
loved them even as you have loved me. "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,
and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world."

As you know our family in God has many forms of lifting and exalting His Holy Name:

Music ● Dance ● Art  ● Outreach

Prayer ● Fellowship ● Communion ● Evangelism

and so much more!

Day Of Praise has no limits in lifting up His praises!
We know every gathering prepares and plans in accordance
to scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
In time of preparation we ask the Lord to "set aside in time" the day in which all the
gatherings around the world take place. We bring this powerful request before the Lord
so that we might walk in His footsteps, be sensitive to His heart for each gathering, that He might
prepare souls to meet with Him for the first time, and to prepare a day of beautiful weather for every area.

"During the conclusion of Day Of Praise 2004 while Terry MacAlmon and his anointed worship team lead us into the manifest presence of God I remember worshiping and singing along and aloud with all my heart. I remember stopping at one point and walking to the back of the crowd. While walking towards the back of all the worshiping saints I saw a group of individuals, about 4 or 5 of them, standing on the side walk gazing at what was taking place. As I walked by this group of individuals I noticed one young lady who wasn't worshiping, "outwardly" that is, or singing along but I did 'read' her face. As the worshipers around her lifted up the Name of Jesus the Savior I could see what her heart was feeling by the expression she had. She as feeling the presence of God. Whether she knew the King of kings as her Savior or not, I do not know. But one thing I do know and will always keep reminding us all about is that there is nothing like the manifest presence of God when He comes down to receive the song of love from His bride, His people, His children! That young lady felt the God of Heaven and Earth and she stood there with watery eyes and a gaze of wonderment. That's what Day Of Praise is all about. Inviting people to experience unity while the King of Glory 'reigns' down and visits us."
